.Gina Nickels is a Las Vegas–based artist whose acrylic paintings explore themes of nature, animals, and the beauty found in everyday life. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design from San Diego State University, where she developed a strong foundation in composition, color, and visual storytelling.
Early in her career, Gina worked for an archaeology firm, creating detailed graphics and illustrations of historic and prehistoric artifacts. This meticulous work required a disciplined attention to form, texture, and nuance—skills that continue to shape her artistic practice today.
